Due to environmental reasons a cupola furnace, fired with coke, was replaced.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The order included the mechanical and electrical equipment, consisting of delivery, engineering, installation and commissioning. Ancillary equipment such as the furnace transformer, high-current system, electrode lines, cooling water distribution, hydraulics and all piping were also included in the scope of supply.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>A particular challenge was to complete all the work within the specified revamping time, taking into account all other plant modules.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Production start took place at 18.12.2020.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Thenceforth all expectations regarding capacity, product quality and emission values have been more than fulfilled.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bromkamp was awarded to install a new electric arc furnace in the factory in Norway.
